Angel Fire ArtSpace first opened its doors on December 16, 2003. Now, five years later (and in its third location) owner Katherine McDermott says “This feels like home”.
Located across the hall from the Rupp Galley, in the Inn Center, the gallery represents the works of more than 25 local and regional artists, as well as Katherine’s vibrant watercolors and pastels. “It’s been quite a journey, with highs and lows all along the way. I’m thrilled at the prospect of this new trail.” Katherine is deeply involved in this project, and serves as the President of both the Moreno Valley Arts Council and the Northeastern New Mexico Arts Alliance. The MVAC is the fiscal agent for the young organization.
Passion for Art is evident everywhere you look when you walk in the door of the ArtSpace Gallery. There are colorful paintings on every wall, accented with glass work, pottery and sculpture.
