Tito's Gallery - Las Vegas, NM
Tito's Gallery has begun its 25th year in business in Las Vegas, New Mexico! The gallery is owned and operated by Mary and Tito Chavez and is a consignment gallery featuring more than 50 artists and crafts persons from all around New Mexico. Local folk art from nearby communities is on display at this time. Tito's has a large collection of Richard Rivera's retablos and bultos as well as some of Suzie Flores-Vasquez's and Cruz Flores's santos. Tito's Gallery has functional pottery, decorated gourds, Native American dolls, kachinas, and jewelry. Tito's own gold and silver jewelry is always on display. He does custom work and supplies the shop with his original designs made right in the shop at his workbench. He offers demonstrations and classes in jewelry making and design. Other artists provide the paintings, prints, collages, photographs, cards, posters, pottery, tin work mirrors, and etchings that decorate the gallery. Tito's motto is "An art show every day."
